Former President Donald Trump blasted Democratic President Joe Biden in a statement on Saturday for his extremely contentious withdrawal from Afghanistan, which resulted in the deaths of 13 US servicemen and the displacement of many Americans.

“This is a very sad day for the wonderful people of our Country,” Trump began his address. “September 11th is a day of profound sadness for our country. Many things were shown that day, most notably the bravery of our police, fire, and other first responders. They did an absolutely incredible job. We adore them and thank them.”

The 20th anniversary of the 9/11 atrocities takes on added significance this year as a result of Biden’s botched and catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan. The Biden administration first set September 11 as the deadline for when US soldiers would leave the nation before shifting it to August 31. People attempting to leap off of moving airplanes, tumbling out of airplanes, 13 US troops killed in a terrorist attack, hundreds of Americans left behind when the US military withdrew out, and an apparently innocent family killed in a drone strike were all part of Biden’s departure from the nation.

“It is also a sad moment because our fight on individuals who have done so much harm to our country concluded last week,” Trump added in his address. “The deaths of 13 outstanding warriors, as well as the many more who were injured, should never have occurred. Last week, 250 people were killed in Afghanistan, and many more were badly injured. Without firing a single shot, we were robbed of $85 billion in the best and most advanced military weapons. Our country’s leader was made to appear like an idiot, and that can never be allowed to happen. It was the result of poor preparation, terrible weakness, and leaders who genuinely didn’t comprehend what was going on. The twentieth year of this conflict should have been a year of victory, dignity, and strength. Joe Biden and his incompetent government, on the other hand, surrendered in defeat.”

“We will live on, but tragically, our Country will be wounded for a long time,” Trump said in his message. “We will struggle to recover from the disgrace generated by this ineptitude. But don’t be alarmed. America will be restored to its former glory!”

Following the terrorist attack at Kabul International Airport, Biden was seen repeatedly checking his watch during the respectful handover of the soldiers’ remains when they returned home, and he has received several calls to resign or be impeached. Biden’s popularity ratings have now fallen into the 30s, with only roughly a quarter of the population feeling that the United States is on the right track.

In a second statement, Trump slammed Biden over a New York Times article published on Friday that claimed the Biden administration killed a family in Kabul during a drone attack. According to Chris Cobb-Smith, a British Army veteran and security specialist, the report “seriously calls into question the legitimacy of the information or technology used to conclude this was a valid target.”

“They executed this strike swiftly to demonstrate their toughness,” Trump added. “Instead, they murdered a [aid worker for a U.S.-based group] and a large number of children. This is what happens when you put individuals in charge who are terribly inept. The tragedy in Afghanistan will add to what should have been an honorable and dignified September 11th. The capitulation of the administration will live in infamy.”

  1. Hey this is kind of of off topic but I was wanting to know if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding expertise so I wanted to get advice from someone with experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!

  2. I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own weblog and was curious what all is required to get setup? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I’m not very internet smart so I’m not 100 positive. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

  3. Together with almost everything which seems to be developing throughout this specific subject matter, a significant percentage of points of view are relatively refreshing. Having said that, I beg your pardon, but I can not subscribe to your whole plan, all be it radical none the less. It seems to me that your remarks are generally not totally validated and in actuality you are generally your self not really thoroughly confident of your argument. In any case I did enjoy reading through it.
